The best word to describe this parade would be interesting. But it was fun to go with all my German friends. Pictured here are just a few of them, Sara, Benny, and Anne. Afterwords there was a huge concert in Trafalgar Square. I'll start with the more normal pictures :)
The Dublin marching band. |
I don't think this was actually a clergyman but he looked official. |
The Irish football club. |
We got there early so we had a pretty good spot. |
There were of course lots of bagpipes. |
I have no idea who this is but the costume was pretty cool. |
The Olympic rings, not very Irish but very big here right now. |
All I can say here is, "Dancing Pringles anyone?" |
Once again I have no idea who this is suposed to be but it was a pretty sweet costume. |
They got my vote for best costume. |
The African Irish. |
The Asian Irish. |
The Mexican Irish. |
The Brazilian Irish. Who can I just say must have been freezing. |
The Latin Irish. |
And of course what woud a St.Patrick's day Parade be with out including the Hari Krishna's! |
