This is Nido my home here in London, its small but nice and really close to Kings Cross which is one of the main tube stations.

And yes that is blue sky you see in the background :)

     
















Today we ventured out to Big Ben, the London Eye, Westminster Abby, and than took a very long, in part to geting lost a couple of times, walk to Buckingham palace. I have to say my feet hurt a little and my hands were freezing by the time we found Buckingham Palace but it is kind of a must see here.

Soup Fail

My first dinner in London I tried to have soup. However the microwave doesn't have numbers on its, so naturally I put it on the soup setting and this is what happened. Than without any paper towels I had to try to clean it up with toiletpaper, lets just say the soup was not worth all that hassel.

I got into London this morning, the sun even decided to come out for a bit so I could see some of the countryside as we flew in. The first big surprise was that they must have used a wide angle camera on the pictures of my dorm room because it is tiny, especially to share with another person. But I'm settling in, and went to the grocery store so I have something to eat and trying to unpack but with no drawers or hangers its hard to do anything but through stuff in the closet. I will try to get some pictures for tomorrow, I miss you all.

The adventure begins January 28th!
