I thought you all might like to see this video I took in a pub that we went to after the Themes River pageant. The first part is the best, as everyone all weekend would randomly break out into "God save the Queen" when you were least expecting it.

Celebrating 60 Years of Her Majesty!

From left to right: Christoph, Anja, Max, and Mareen.
I made it back to London after a week in Germany in order to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee. I spent the weekend with Anja (who I'm staying with while I'm back in London), Mareen (who I spent Easter with), and than two of Mareen's friends form home who happened to be visiting (Max and Christoph). The five of us had fun trying to see the Queen on the Themes, unfortunately there were about a billion other people trying to do the same thing. And going to Hyde park to watch the concert on these huge screens, once again along with the rest of London. But there were some amazing fireworks at the end of the show. After the show we all went to a pub for drinks and some dinner so Anja and I didn't get back to her place until 2am. And at that point I still hadn't packed to my flight to Oslo that left at 8 in the morning! So I got a grand total of 45 min of sleep last night before I had to get up to catch the bus to the airport. But even half asleep I made it on my flight and to Oslo!
I think all of England showed up at the Themes
on Sunday.
This was the closest I got the
the Queen!

watch the concert.

Deutschland!

Before I head home at the end of June I wanted to get in a little more traveling. So since I have made so many friends from Germany that was my first stop.
Anne invited me to come to her parent’s house in Munster Germany and because Anne works for Bahn (the rail service here in Germany) she was able to get me very cheep train tickets so I could see Hamburg and Berlin as well!
This is Anne's cat Tigo, you have no idea how
happy I was to wake up to a cat at the end of my
 bed again!
I got to see Münster by Bike.

I felt very European biking around the city!

Hamburg!

Brandeburger Gate

Berlin is the only place in the world where they
use this green man as the symbol to walk when
you are crossing the street.

It was nice and sunny and warm for my last full week in London, so my inner Californian had to find a pool to lie by. Anja (who thinks she’s Californian) decided she would come with me but said she still had to finish up some homework. Little did I know that meant bringing her whole computer to the pool with us :)

Men In Black III Premiere

On a whim I decided it would fun to tag along with some friends to stand out front of the MIBIII premiere and boy and I glad I did. I saw Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls, Josh Brolin , and of course Will Smith! It was pretty cool to see them all up close and my friend Anja whom I went with even got a high five from Will Smith.

Gratulerer med dagen Norge!

May 17th is Norwegian independence day so I went with all my Norwegian friends to a celebration they were having in a park for all the Norwegians living in London. It was very fun and exiting to see their traditions.
It was even cool to hear the speech someone gave in Norwegian, unfortunately I didn’t understand a word they were saying and ended up laughing when they were talking about terrorism. Oops! Thankfully one of my friends stopped me before I offended anyone.
